Barbican

 

We have enjoyed working closely with `The Barbican` over the last three years and we know the children and teachers will cherish the experiences. Have a look at some of the projects we created together. 

The Greenleaf Poem - Written collectively by all the classes at Greenleaf – (in association with The Barbican)

The Barbican Box - 

 Year 2 have been writing poetry using the wonderful work of Michael Rosen as inspiration. They have been working with the fantastic Reza from the Barbican to turn these poems into animations. They had an incredible experience viewing their own animation at the cinema in the Barbican and also meeting Michael Rosen himself. Click below to have a look at the final animation. 

  

 

 Visits to The Barbican

Throughout our time working with `The Barbican`, all children from Year 2 to Year 6 got a chance to take part in workshops and visit the Barbican. One of our favourite workshops was creating our own stop motion videos all about OUR OWN WORLDS.
