We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring individual who wants to make a positive contribution to our school.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant to support a child 1:1 with SEMH and behavioural needs.  Greenleaf Primary School is very proud of its reputation to succeed and ensure that every child matters and every child is able to reach their full potential.  This position is initially for a year with the possibility of extending this role next year.

The successful candidate will have:

  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • be able to work in a busy, child-centred environment both indoors and outdoors.
  • have experience working with children with SEMH or children with challenging behaviour
  • strong ability to build rapport

We are looking to appoint exceptional Teaching Assistants to provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievements for all pupils, to encourage pupils to become independent learners, to ensure their safety and welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.  The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a busy, child-centred environment across the key stages, both indoors and outdoors. We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are flexible and willing to learn, you may be working in the classroom as well as with children with additional needs.  We offer excellent induction training.
