This is by Waltham Forest Council (School Admissions) not Greenleaf Primary School. A place at Greenleaf Nursery DOES NOT guarantee a place at Greenleaf Primary School.

Applying for a Reception Place

You must apply for a Reception class for your child even if they attend a school nursery or have an older brother or sister at your preferred school.  If your child currently attends a nursery attached to a school this does not give them any priority for a place in Reception at that school.

You must apply for a place using the eAdmissions website.

The booklet Starting Primary School  (click here to go to the LBWF website) contains all the information you need to know about applying for a Reception class place, including:

• arrangements for selecting the pupils who apply
• our over-subscription criteria (ie. how places are offered if there are more applicants than places)
• an explanation of the process you need to follow to apply for a place at Greenleaf for your child. 

If your child attends a nursery (either attached to a school or independent) a copy of the booklet will be sent home with your child. If your child does not attend nursery or you do not receive a copy, you will be able to download it via the link above or from the Waltham Forest website in September www.walthamforest.gov.uk

Admissions for Older Children

Families with older children, who arrive new to the area, must also apply directly to the Local Authority School Admissions Service.
