ISLE OF WIGHT 2025
Hello Parents,

Monday 9th June
We arrived safely at the hostel at 5pm. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and went off on a sunset walk. We have been having fun throwing pebbles into the sea.
Tuesday 10th June
We are fuelling up with some yummy breakfast, ready for a day at Osbourne House.
We visited Osbourne House (Queen Victoria's House on the Isle of Wight) and have been preparing for the Queen's visit.

Wednesday 11th June
Great day on our boat trip to the Needles and adventuring in the water park too.
We had perfect weather for our pleasure cruise - mist drifted over the cliffs as we set sail. We listened to stories of shipwrecks, lighthouse keepers, and hidden sea defences as we sailed around Allum Bay.
The mist lifted just in time for us to eat lunch on the beach before we headed off to Tapnall Farm for a fun filled afternoon bouncing around on the inflatables! It was so much fun.

Thursday 12th June
Today we were at Black Gang Chine, the UK's oldest theme park. It was named after a now-destroyed chine in the soft Cretaceous cliffs.
Here we all are, though the rain poured on us it didn’t dampen spirits at Black Gang Chine! Lots of fun was had!
Ready for our evening dinner....yum!
Friday 13th June
Fossil hunting today before heading home!
Ferry home - goodbye, Isle of Wight!
