PHONICS
Here's a catchy song you can enjoy with your child. It will help them to learn their phonemes.
You can play it again and again. How many phonemes does your child remember? Do they remember the actions? Can they remember the phonemes with the volume turned off?

We have put these up for you to work through throughout the year and beyond. These words are really important when helping your child to read. If they know these words 'by sight' (not sounding them out), it really helps them to become more fluent readers. Please work at your child's level. We are aware that children are at different stages of reading, so have put them all up for reference.

ART WEEK
The children LOVED our Art week topic: Rainbow
We based some of our artwork around our Literacy Big Book and Maths learning. So, instead of going on a Bear Hunt, we went on a Rainbow Hunt!
Look what we found at the end of the rainbow!
