Year 2 SATs Meeting and Maths Workshop
Dear parents and carers,
Please watch the SATs video and have a look through the PowerPoint. You can also download the Recommended Reading document which has lots of books appropriate for Year 2 children. If you wish to have a look at examples of the SATs paper please go to Parents and then SATs KS1 on this website and you can check out some of the old papers. Just remember do not worry! Working on the homework and any additional activities we may have asked you to do will help.
Please open the Maths Workshop PowerPoint. Embedded throughout the PowerPoint are links to videos which will show you how we teach each of the operations. You will find a document below with all the methods which is easy to print and keep with the children's homework. Also, there is an activity sheet with example questions you could give the children to practice. Please do stick with these methods as they will help with consistency between school and home.
