This week, we are going to learn about Pentecost and what this means to Christians. During this time, Christians remember the time that the disciples of Jesus received the gift of the Holy Spirit. It reminds them how Jesus kept his promise that God would do this and Pentecost represents the beginning of the Christian Church, as Christians also remember how the disciples then went out in to the world to tell everyone about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
To learn more about Pentecost read through the Powerpoint and then there is an art activity for you to do or you could write an acrostic poem about Pentecost, putting the word pentecost down the side of the page and starting each line with that letter.
